This week has been VERY stressful. Moving day is this Saturday-yikes! Packing was much easier when I was a non-pregnant lady :) I am having to rely on my wonderful husband for all the heavy lifting. Such a humbling experience to give up all the control and ask for help...not my biggest strength.

WEAK 26
October 10, 2012
Monday night I got extremely sick and decided to head to InstaCare the next morning. The doctor said I definitely had bronchitis but he wanted to test for blood clots in my lungs...scary, right?! So, they took a blood sample and said they'd call me in 3 hours. If my blood levels were too high, I'd have to go immediately to the Emergency Room.
Well, 3 hours later I got a call saying my D-Dimer levels were high (according to the doctor) and that I should head straight to the ER. Yikes! I got my butt in the car and my mom escorted me to the University of Utah Hospital.
After being hooked up to monitors to make sure mom and baby were ok, the doctor came in and told me I have NOTHING to worry about. She thought it was absolutely C-razy that the InstaCare doctor would even administer the blood test because if any pregnant woman took the test, the results would always be high.
She had many other concerns about how the InstaCare treated my situation... Basically, my D-Dimer levels are just fine for a pregnant lady. I was given a clean bill of health (minus the bronchitis) and I have a perfectly healthy baby boy growing.
I will not be posting a legit 26 week picture of me and the belly because I look like DEATH! While at the hospital I received a flu shot. So, I've got bronchitis AND the flu... double whammy this week :)
Please note that I did NOT misspell the title of my blog :)

Week 25 was a blast! I got to go up to the family cabin & spend conference weekend with the fam damily. Watching General Conference as a mommy-to-be was an amazing experience. My favorite talk was by L. Tom Perry. I felt uplifted and excited about being a mom.
it was my pappa's birthday so we gave him a surprise party!
He swears that he turned 29 :)
